Inline-Query-Editor for Excel (add-in and standalone app)
Last updated: 2026-10-10

This app does not collect, transmit or share any personal information.

• The app does not connect to the internet. It contains no telemetry, no advertising, and does not send crash reports.
• The app connects to Microsoft Excel running on your PC and reads and writes the Power Query (M) definitions of the workbook you have open. Workbook contents never leave your PC.
• Settings and logs are stored only on your PC (%LOCALAPPDATA%\InlineQueryEditor; a per-package location for the Store version). Logs may contain error details and query names. They are removed when you uninstall the app or delete that folder.
• Connections to the data sources your queries use (web, databases, etc.) are made by Excel. That communication is outside the control of this app and is subject to Microsoft's privacy policy.
